Level 2 Intermediate Barbering Apprenticeship Standard
On successful completion of a barbering apprenticeship standard, an apprentice will be able to carry out consultations with clients, demonstrate professionalism, and develop excellent communication skills and safe working practices associated with their role. They will be able to work without supervision to a high level of professionalism.
Ideal for learners who want to learn how to become a barber. Learners don't need any experience in barbering or hairdressing. They can also choose to add this fantastic qualification when they complete a hairdressing apprenticeship to add to their skills.
The barbering apprenticeship standard includes units in consultation, styling and finishing, cutting, shaving, facial hair styling and shampooing.
