After years of demand, we can finally open our hairdressing training academy doors to local apprentices. This means hairdressing apprentices can now get bespoke training in-house! This will be available to apprentices from ANY local salon... not just Saks salons!

Saks' bespoke education
Our apprentices are coached on how to present themselves and behave in a professional manner, in-turn giving them the added skill of being able to grow and maintain a good client base though excellent customer service. By gaining the combined skills of the apprenticeship in hairdressing with the excellent customer care skills, we believe that apprentices will have the best start in the industry when training with Saks.
Apprentices attend Saks Hairdressing Academy in Darlington once a week and work in their salon for the rest of the week. Academy sessions include both practical and theory sessions throughout the day, and apprentices carry out services on live models whilst training to ensure the best possible experience. All apprentices have access to excellent resources to use to support them in their chosen course, including an ICT suite and separate functional skills sessions.
