Saks Apprenticeships supporting Mental Health Awareness Week 2021

Saks Apprenticeships ensuring the health and well being of all our apprentices.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 and a big part of the Saks Apprenticeships apprenticeship programs is ensuring the health and well being of all our apprentices.

Our 20 plus years of working with apprentices and salons have helped us to develop an outstanding support network for all our learners with a team of fully qualified safeguarding officers and staff who are trained to recognise the signs of all welfare concerns.

The last year and a half have put a spotlight on mental health and wellbeing, especially in the younger communities across the UK, with the lockdown and pendemic testing our capacities more than ever. Now, with restrictions being lifted and life returning to normal, is the time to focus even more on ensuring our friends, colleagues and ourselves are supported.

This years Mental Health Awareness Week has a theme of Nature, getting out of isolation, into the open spaces around us and starting to #ConnectWithNature. This fantastic video from @mentalhealthfoundation has some fantastic tips and advice on how you can support your good mental health.
